New PTA gear for next school board meeting: Spit shields

Parents, teachers and children can now attend future Montgomery County School Board meetings without having to wash their faces afterward.

Thanks to public safety supply vendor Botac, everybody in the PTA can safely but fashionably petition their elected officials.

Botac offers the Infectious Disease Control Shield - popularly known as a Spit Shield - "a complete face shield assembly with elastic attachment and foam cushion."

Manufactured for law enforcement and medical use, the Spit Shield is now available to your local PTA. The mylar anti-static shields come five to a bag and cost only five dollars.

Though made for grown-ups, first-graders can wear them comfortably because one size fits all!
