Almanac: 'Nearly unanimous distrust' of school board

Addressing the school board at the May 1 hearing on Seven Locks, more than 60 parents and community leaders were "nearly unanimous" in their "distrust" of the board of education, the Almanac reports.

Only one person, Heidi Subin, supported the MCPS plan to build a "replacement" school on Kendale Road. She claimed that the other speakers represented "very few people."

Not a single citizen voiced support for the MCPS plan to abolish Seven Locks Elementary School completely and scatter the children among four other schools.
