County Council appears to be working with Inspector General

Is the leadership of the Montgomery County Council working with the Inspector General on the issue of alleged corruption, abuse of power and wrongdoing on the school board?

The Gazette hints at it.

Council President George Leventhal appears to have inside knowledge of IG Thomas Dagley's ongoing investigation.

Dagley has a "number of items on his work plan that affect the school system," Leventhal says in the Gazette.

One of those items is the allegation that the school board violated the state's open meetings law when deciding the fate of Seven Locks Elementary School. Stay tuned.
