'Save Seven Locks from Sharon Cox'

A spirited group of protesters at the May 1 school board meeting called some clever chants in defense of their beloved Seven Locks Elementary School.

"Save Seven Locks from Sharon Cox," the children and their parents chanted, referring to the school board member (pictured) who had been an early leader in the effort to raze their school.

"Save Seven Locks from Steve Abramoff," went another chant - a reference to school board member Steve Abrams and the national poster boy of public corruption, the disgraced lobbyist and Montgomery County resident Jack Abramoff.
