O'Neill: Lawyers might decide Seven Locks issue

The Seven Locks controversy might wind up in the hands of lawyers, Board of Education member Patricia O'Neill tells the Gazette.

Commenting on the dispute for authority between the County Council, which appropriates the school board's money, and the school board itself, O'Neill says, "I think that would be a matter to be decided by the attorneys."

Last year, the school board readied $1 million to hire lawyers to fight parents who opposed its controversial sex-ed policy, so we can expect an expensive fight.
