County Council members skewered in parody cartoon

Dancing to "moolah-moolah" can-can music, animated caricatures of county councilmembers sing about how they brought sprawl, congestion and overcrowded "learning shack" classrooms to Montgomery County.

The animated cartoon appears on NeighborsPAC.org, the homepage of Neighbors for a Better Montgomery. The group includes PTA members who are concerned with how the county has made life difficult for public school children.

Those skewered in the cartoon are Council Members Steve Silverman, Nancy Floreen, Michael Subin, Michael Knapp and George Leventhal.
