Right after asking the school board to appoint him to another four-year, $1.4 million term, Superintendent Jerry Weast yielded yet again to angry parents and ditched his plan to close programs for special ed kids.The Washington Post reports that parents of special ed children benefit more in existing learning centers than in what the Post calls "regular classrooms."
